Kris is active in industry associations and has served on the Executive Committee of the national Financial Planning Association (FPA), the Financial Industry Advisory Committee for the Colorado Securities Commissioner, and the Producer Advisory Council for the Colorado Insurance Commissioner. He also served as Chairman of the Colorado Financial Planning Association.
Kris is a University of Wyoming graduate and has served on the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations in the Denver area. Outside of work, Kris enjoys traveling with his wife Wendy, playing golf, and staying active in the local community.

Ron Taylor is Managing Director at American Portfolios Denver and leads the firm’s growing independent advisor and bank advisor channel. Using his 20+ years of financial industry experience, Ron supports and advises our affiliated advisors to help them grow their businesses using our innovative Advisor GlidePath methodology.
Prior to joining the American Portfolios Denver team, Ron managed advisor development in Colorado and Wyoming for Lincoln Financial Advisors and held leadership roles in advisor recruitment, operations, and compliance at Raymond James Financial Services.
Ron is a graduate of Wake Forest University and an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). Outside of work, Ron enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time exploring Colorado with his four children.

With over 40 years of experience in the financial industry, Loretta Chiofolo focuses on helping individuals, families, and non-profit organizations plan for their financial success.
Loretta assists clients in identifying their financial and retirement goals, developing an investment strategy and plan, building efficient and cost-effective portfolios, and creating reliable sources of income in retirement. She works closely with clients and their tax and legal professionals to deliver a cost-effective and results-driven financial partnership. When useful, Loretta utilizes her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification.
Loretta is a Denver, Colorado native and after graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a degree in economics, she worked in the financial services industry in New York City and Garden City, NJ for 18 years. She relocated back to Colorado with her daughter in 2002 and now lives in Roxborough, a foothills community southwest of Denver. In her spare time, Loretta enjoys riding her horse Avery, skiing, and hiking in the beautiful Colorado mountains near her home.

William (Bill) Larkin is a veteran financial advisor at American Portfolios Denver with over 15 years of experience helping clients develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that incorporate retirement planning, college planning, and wealth transfer objectives.
Bill joined the American Portfolios Denver team because it allows him to focus on his clients' best interests and he enjoys seeing his hard work with clients become a reality as they live out their financial dreams.
Prior to joining our team, Bill was a financial advisor at BBVA Compass, Chase Investment Solutions, and TIAA-CREF. He also spent five years serving our country in the Air Force Reserves and as a commissioned officer in the Navy.
Bill is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in Mathematics. When he's not busy working with clients, Bill enjoys playing golf, officiating basketball, and spending time with his wife and two children.

Marie McClellan has over 25 years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting CEO’s and Directors across multiple industries, including Entertainment, Premium Pet Food, Technology, Real Estate Development, and Retail. She was raised in southern California and started her professional career in Inventory Accounting in the Magic Kingdom of Disneyland. Marie previously served as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of the Credit Division of Nordstrom with their strong reputation of exceptional customer service. When Marie isn't busy serving American Portfolios Denver clients, she enjoys dancing and often performs at local venues with her dance troupe.
Bruce grew up on a ranch near Rose, Nebraska, received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and lived in Washington, D.C. for five years before moving to Kearney in 1994. He started his financial services career at Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc. as a Registered Representative and after more than 15 years managing trusts for two Nebraska-based bank trust departments, joined Black Oak Investment Council.
In 2019, Bruce joined American Portfolios Financial Services as a Registered Representative and Novem Group as an Investment Advisor. He currently leads the investment division at Five Points Financial as an affiliate advisor with American Portfolios Denver. Bruce currently serves on the Kearney City Council, the Buffalo County Economic Development Council, and the Kearney Area Community Foundation. He also volunteers with Kearney Catholic High School and Kearney Soccer Club as well as other community service organizations. When he's not at Five Points, Bruce likes to coach soccer, improve his BBQ skills, and spend time with his wife, Menda, and their two daughters.

Jordan Reinertson grew up in Gibbon, Nebraska where he also graduated high school in 2008. He attended college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and studied Finance and Business, Marketing and Information Technology (BMIT). He completed his Bachelor of Science degrees in 2013 in the field of Business Administration and Education and Human Sciences. He also was a member of the Husker Men's Golf Team.
Jordan went on to teach and coach at the high school level. He was a business teacher at Minden High School from 2015-2020. In addition, he was a FBLA Advisor for the Minden Chapter all five of his years in Minden and Head Boys Basketball Coach for the Whippets for three years. He then went on to teach for two more years at Kearney High School from 2020-2022 and was the assistant Boys Golf Coach as well. He started his financial advising career at Five Points Financial in August of 2022.
He and his wife (also Jordan) live in Kearney. His wife is a 1st-grade teacher at Glenwood Elementary. They welcomed their first child, Norah Jean, into the world in June of 2022.
Blaine began his financial services career in 1999 as a registered representative with a national firm and joined American Trust Center in 2006 as a Trust Officer. Blaine is a lifelong Dickinson resident, graduated from Dickinson State University, and is involved in the community, serving in various roles on the board of directors for several local non-profits. Blaine is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute’s Personal Trust School, as well as holding his series 7, 63 and 65 securities and ND insurance licenses. Blaine manages the West Region of the Personal Trust Division, as well as the Wealth Management division of the Company. Blaine blends his years of experience and professional training to assist his clients in achieving financial and personal success with sound planning and practical advice.
