American Portfolios Denver Kris Tower Serves as 2018 President of Colorado Financial Planning Association

DENVER -- Mr. Kris Tower, Managing Director of American Portfolios Denver, began his appointed tenure as President of the Colorado Chapter of the Financial Planning Association for 2018. The Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) is the principal professional organization for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professionals, educators, financial services providers.

Mr. Tower’s responsibilities and role as President will further support his ongoing commitment to serving the community of investors across Colorado and the financial planning profession. The Financial Planning Association of Colorado has approximately 600 members serving over 65,000 Colorado households. The FPA ® supports the certified financial planner(CFP ®) mark, the premier professional designation of the financial planning industry.

Mr. Tower is the Managing Director of American Portfolios Denver based in the Denver Tech Center. His influence and participation in the leadership of the Financial Planning Association is one of Mr. Tower’s signature contributions to the financial services industry in Colorado.
